ACID ARAB announce the release of their new album with a 2nd single
The eagerly awaited third album by the Franco-Algerian collective is entitled ٣ (Trois)*, it’s scheduled for release on 3 February 2023.
Ya Mahla, the second single off the album, sees the reunion between Acid Arab and Syrian singer Wael Alkak (who was originally meant to be the band’s first keyboard player). The lyrics to this driving track sound like a sort of anthem (“What a beautiful word, ‘Freedom’ / I salute the Arab people / What a beautiful word, ‘Freedom’ / I salute the Arab revolutionaries”).
Acid Arab will be performing music from the new album on an international tour which starts this November and will continue throughout 2023.
About Acid Arab: comprising Guido Minisky, Hervé Carvalho, Pierrot Casanova, Nicolas Borne and Kenzi Bourras, the mighty French-Algerian collective have been setting fire to clubs and festivals worldwide ever since the release of their debut album Musique de France (2016). Their second album, Jdid, came out in 2019. The band have performed hundreds of shows in over fifty countries on four continents.
